This page is a Work in Progress as much of the lore/Development for the game is yet to be established.

The Watermelon is a large, interactable prop found within the UNSF Magellan. It represents a substantial piece of fruit and can be interacted with physically in the game world.

An in-game watermelon prop.

Overview

Watermelon props add to the detailed and lived-in atmosphere of the starship, particularly in areas where food might be prepared or served. Due to its size, it stands out among other food props. Players can pick up and manipulate these items within the environment.

Functionality

  • Physics: Watermelons have in-game physics, letting players manipulate them (e.g., pick them up, drop them, throw them).
  • No Current Gameplay Function: As of current development builds, watermelons don't serve any specific gameplay purpose beyond their physical interaction (e.g., you can't eat them for health, use them as a tool, or use them for any mission objectives).

Locations

You'll typically find watermelons in common areas where food might be present, such as the Mess Hall (planned page) or VIP Lounge.
