A Civilian is a person without any regular shipboard duties. They may be seeking passage, using the ship as a conference location, or simply enjoying the ride. Civilians currently wear black uniform, similar to the stewards department.
Roles
Passenger
Civilians who are aboard either for a journey or have been picked up to travel to a location.
Ambassador
Delegates and negotiators who are visiting or travelling on ship for diplomatic purposes.
Duties on Ship (Gameplay)
- No duties to perform at all.
- Relax and enjoy the ride.

The department was originally referred to as the Passenger. During development, the department was renamed in-game as the Civilian department. However, some promotional material still uses the term passenger to refer to the department.
