The VIP Piano is an interactive object found in the lower level of the VIP Lounge on B Deck of the Magellan class starship in Starship Simulator.
Description
The piano is an upright model with a glossy black finish. It features 77 playable keys. Below the keyboard are three foot pedals, though these are currently non-functional in the game.
Interaction
Players can interact with the piano in two ways:
- Mouse Click: Clicking directly on the piano keys with the mouse will play the corresponding note.
- MIDI Interface: If a MIDI keyboard or interface is connected to the computer before launching Starship Simulator, players can use it to play the piano in-game.
Known Issues
- MIDI Octave Bug: In the current build, notes played via a MIDI interface sound two octaves higher than intended.
Location
The piano is situated in the lower section of the VIP Lounge on B Deck. It is placed against a wall, flanked by two potted plants.
