This tutorial explains how to use the Holoprojector, the central display for the Command Crew on the Bridge of the UNSF Magellan.

How to Use the Holoprojector

1. Accessing Controls

  • Approach the display
  • Once at the Display find a Star systems or other object on the display you want to interact with.
  • Point at the Item you wish to interact with and left click. You can hold E and you mouse to more precisely interact with the objects.

2. Using The Interfaces

  • When an object is selected, a menu pops up similar to those presented in the command interfaces.
  • You must use the Mouse to select the option.
  • Press and hold the UI Interaction key (Default: E) to activate the mouse cursor, allowing you to move the mouse without changing the character's view.
  • Use the mouse to click on interface elements to monitor systems, issue commands, or access information.
  • Release the E key to deactivate the mouse cursor.

3. Additional Functions

  • Once an option is selected, you need to interact with the appropriate station.
  • If sent to the Sensors Station, you must interact with the Sensors Operator to perform surveys and project the object onto the Holo-Display.
  • If sent to the Helm, you must interact with the Helm Officer to plot a course to the selected object.
