Engineer

An engineer is a shipwide role aboard a starship. The role places the officer in charge of maintaining the ship's devices and equipment, often to check whether they are still functioning and perform maintenance on devices. However, some roles will place them at stations on the bridge, such as the propulsion and power stations. In the UNSF, engineers hold the rank of crewmen and are members of the engineering department.
