This page lists known or suspected Easter Eggs, hidden references, and jokes within Starship Simulator. Easter Eggs are hidden intentional details added by the developers for players to discover. As the game is under active development, more may be added or discovered over time. - Feel free to add any confirmed findings below, preferably with details on how to find them!

Confirmed / Likely Easter Eggs

Physical Galaxy Generation Hardware:
  • Description: A physical computer box representing the Galaxy Generation system was added in Build 0.225.0.60.
  • Location: Data Centre on C Deck.
  • Note: Described by the developer as "a fun little meta thing," acknowledging the system that runs the game's universe has a physical presence within that universe.
Jonesy the Cat:
  • Description: A ship's cat added in Build 0.225.0.44.
  • Note: While a feature, ship's cats named Jonesy are a common trope in science fiction, most famously referencing the cat in the sci-fi horror film Alien. It serves as a likely homage.
