Shuttle

A shuttle (short for shuttlecraft) is a space vehicle designed for short-range transporation. They are often used to transport starship personnel between ships or to planet surfaces. Shuttles are stored in a Shuttle Bay.

Development

Testing for shuttles began during patch cycle 0.226, with initial versions seeing whether they could exist independent to a starship in the game's world.[1]
