Shuttle Bay

NOTICE: This page is a Work in Progress as much of the lore/Development for the game is yet to be established.

The Shuttle Bay is the designated area aboard starships intended for the launch and recovery of shuttlecrafts. Within the UNSF, tasks in the Shuttle Bay will presumably be overseen by the Operations department.

Current Status

As of the current development stage, the Shuttle Bay is largely conceptual. Currently both the ships in production, the Magellan Class and the Caravella Class, have shuttle bays in their aft regions.

Intended Function

Once fully developed, the Shuttle Bay will serve as the primary facility for shuttles departing from and arriving at a starship, likely facilitating the transfer of personnel and cargo. Specific features like launch mechanisms, docking clamps, and control stations are expected but not yet present.
