An in-game orange prop.

The Orange is a common interactable prop found within Magellan-class starships. It represents a piece of fruit and can be interacted with physically in the game world.

Overview

Oranges are round, edible props that players can pick up, carry, and throw. They're part of the detailed environment of the starship, helping to create a lived-in feel for various areas, particularly those related to food service.

Functionality

  • Physics: Oranges have in-game physics, letting players manipulate them (e.g., pick them up, drop them, throw them).
  • No Current Gameplay Function: As of current development builds, oranges don't serve any specific gameplay purpose beyond their physical interaction (e.g., you can't eat them for health, use them as a tool, or use them for any mission objectives).

Locations

You'll typically find oranges in common areas where food might be present, such as the Mess Hall (planned page) or VIP Lounge.
