Props
Props are objects in the gameplay environment that can be moved about the ship or in-game universe by a player or NPC. They can range from objects which can be merely picked up and moved about or those that serve a purpose integral to the game, (e.g., extinguisher, storage box, coffee mug, bolt removal tool, etc.), although no specific functions have yet been added to the game. These objects are intended to become fully persistent between game sessions; for example, a souvenir retrieved from a planet might be kept in a crew member's quarters on a shelf.
Typically, props can be interacted with using the left-mouse button. Most can be picked up with the Left Mouse Button, rotated by holding Q and moving the mouse, and thrown by pressing Right Mouse Button. In future updates more functions may be added to props, such as for consuming food and drink, or using tools for specific functions.
