The Organic Printer is an interactive prop that functions as a device capable of generating organic materials, primarily food items. It represents a key piece of technology for sustainable living aboard the UNSF Magellan.

Unlike simple decorative items, the Organic Printer features a dedicated interface, it has role in resource management and crew sustenance. It is a specialized piece of equipment, essential for producing fresh provisions during long voyages. The developer stated that printed foods do not taste the same as natural foods.
