Battery Rooms

NOTICE: This page is a Work in Progress as much of the lore/Development for the game is yet to be established.

Location and Access

8 Battery Rooms are located around the 2nf Ring of F Deck, There are 2 Room located in and serving the 4 sections of the ship, Forward, Aft, Port and Starboard.

Layout

Each battery Room has 6 Battery Arrays and each Battery Array contains 10 battery cells (5 pairs of cells wires in parallel and in parallel to each other pair in the array). So in total the ship has 480 Cells in 48 Arrays.

Each pair of Battery rooms wired in parallel and power the individual ship sections other then the reactor room and bridge which take power from all 4 sections as a redundancy. (assumingly some other curisal ship systems will also need to be powered by all for sections such as life support etc)

Each Array had a monitoring panels showing each cells and arrays Health charge levels and Electrical Loads and charge currents. Each Array gets an input of 1KV and 50A @ 50 KWatts. and outputs 240V and 7.2A @ 1.728 KWatts

Function

The battery room functions as a engineers facility to store Energy for the ship in a electricity format. Keeping an eye for failed or degraded cell will become part of the engineers core gameplay to keep the ships overall systems supplied and working.
