Staterooms
NOTICE: This page is a Work in Progress as much of the lore/Development for the game is yet to be established.

A Stateroom (also referred to as VIP Quarters) is the term given to quarters set up for either high-ranking crewmembers, such as the Captain, Executive Officer and head of a department, or important passengers travelling on a starship. They are often fully-furnished and decorated rooms, with lounging facilities such as a bed and shelving for decoration.
Location
On Magellan Class starships, the Staterooms are located in the outer regions of B Deck. Each one is connected to the Deck B ring corridor and can be accessed from doorways connected to them. Staterooms 1 and 2 are located on the port quadrant, Staterooms 3 and 4 are located on the forward quadrant, and Staterooms 5 and 6 are located on the starboard quadrant.
Each stateroom comprises of three rooms, all currently unfinished. Each one is flipped on the wall connected to its partner in the quadrant, for example Stateroom 1 has its bedroom and bathroom on the right-hand side from entry, whilst Stateroom 2 has it located on the left hand side from entry. The main quarters serve as the entry way into the Stateroom, where dining, lounging and recreational facilities will be located.

To either the right (Staterooms 1, 3 and 5) or left (Staterooms 2, 4 and 6), the Stateroom will feature a bedroom. These are connected via a doorway to the main quarters. It currently consists of a bed, which currently cannot be interacted with. A small area connected to the bedroom is also located in this area, which will feature a small bathroom suite for the occupant.
Development
The Staterooms feature in all versions of Tech Demo 2, though they lack panels and furnishings. In Dev Build 0.225.0.16, the Staterooms' framework was finalised, with new wall and floor panels being added. A prototype of the bed frame was added in Dev Build 0.225.0.43.
In Dev Build 0.226.0.10, the main stateroom layout was redesigned. The centre of the room featured a table with a holographic display, set by default to feature a fireplace. The ceiling was raised to match the ship's hull, with new support beams and shelving placed against each wall. A small kitchen area also features in the inner corner opposite from the entry corner.[1]
