B Deck

B Deck is the second deck on the Magellan class starship. It serves as Administration and Staterooms area, providing accommodation and facilities for passengers and visiting officials aboard the Magellan. B Deck houses six staterooms and the lower half of the VIP lounge. It can be accessed via the VIP lounge from A Deck, the main stairwell from C Deck and a lift from as far as F Deck.

Layout

Data Centre

The main server room, located at the very centre of B Deck. Contains computer hardware used for various systems, such as navigation and sensors. The room can be accessed via a door connected to the ring corridor in the forward section of the room. A lower part of the data centre located on C Deck, can be accessed via a ramp located in the centre of the room.

Ring Corridor

The main corridor surrounding the data centre. It connects to each state state room, the VIP lounge and connects to the main stairwell located in the aft area of the corridor. In patch cycle 0.225, a functioning lift will be added opposite the stairs, allowing access to C Deck, D Deck, E Deck and F Deck, and a security desk guarding the VIP lounge and A Deck.

Staterooms

A set of six stateroom, located on the port, forward, and starboard sides of B Deck. Each contain a main living space, a bedroom and a bathroom. Each room can be accessed through a door connected between each living space and the ring corridor. Staterooms 1 and 2 are located on the port side of the deck, Staterooms 3 and 4 are located on the forward side, and Staterooms 5 and 6 are located on the starboard side.

VIP Lounge (lower)

A furnished bar and dining area, located on the aft side of the deck. The room features multiple tables which can be sat at, a bar and a piano. The aft side of the room features a large glass window outlooking that side of the ship. The VIP lounge also serves as the only way to A Deck, with a circular staircase and lift located in the centre of the room connected to its higher level on A Deck.

Kitchen

A small, unfinished room, located on the port side between the ring corridor, VIP lounge and pantry. A selection of example food can be found in the room. In future updates, this area will be manned by stewards and used to prepare food for high-ranking staff and passengers. It can currently be accessed via a door in the VIP lounge's inner-port corner.

Pantry

A small unfinished room, located on the port side between the kitchen and stateroom 1. Can be accessed via a door connected to the kitchen.

Aft-Starboard Corridor

A small corridor connected between the VIP lounge, storeroom and bathroom. Can be accessed via the inner-starboard corner in the VIP lounge.

Storeroom

A small storage space, located on the starboard side between the ring corridor, VIP lounge and aft-starboard corridor. Stores furniture and decorations for holidays. Can be accessed via a door connected to the aft-starboard corridor.

VIP Lounge Bathroom

A small unfinished room, located on the starboard side between the aft-starboard corridor and stateroom 6. Contains several example cleaning supplies. Can be accessed via the aft-starboard corridor.
