A Deck is the top deck of the Magellan class starship. It houses the bridge, the offices for the captain and executive officer, a conference room and the upper half of the VIP lounge. A Deck serves as the Command Centre for the Magellan, with the command department based out of it. It currently can only be accessed through the VIP lounge on B Deck.

Layout

Bridge

The main command centre of the Magellan class, located at the very centre of the Magellan. The room includes the ship's helm station, sensors station, communications station, tactical station, defence station, CO and XO chairs, and alcoves. A set of windows are located at the forward part of the room, which can display nearby star systems and sensor targets. A holoprojector also features in the centre of the room and controlled from the sensors station.

Corridor

A short stretch of corridor, spanning between the bridge and VIP lounge. It is connected to all rooms on the deck and can be used to access each one.

Captain's Office

The captain's personal office, located on the port side of the corridor between the Bridge and XO's office. By default, it is decorated with astrophysics and space-related memorabilia.

XO's Office

The executive officer's personal office, located on the port side of the corridor between the captain's office and the VIP lounge. By default, it is decorated with Earth-based plant life.

Conference Room

A meeting area, located on the starboard side of the corridor between the armoury and VIP lounge. It features a long table to gather crew around, a monitor capable of displaying video clips, and a window with holoprojectors.

Armoury

A small unfinished room, located on the starboard side of the corridor between the bridge and conference room. In future updates, this will serve as a bathroom for bridge and command crew.

VIP Lounge (top)

A large dining and bar area, located on the aft side. It features a balcony overlooking the lower room, tables around the inbound area, and stairway and lift connected to the lower part of the room on B Deck.
