B Deck is the second deck on the Magellan class starship. It serves as Administration and Staterooms area, providing accommodation and facilities for passengers and visiting officials aboard the Magellan. B Deck houses six staterooms and the lower half of the VIP lounge. It can be accessed via the VIP lounge from A Deck, the main stairwell from C Deck and a lift from as far as F Deck.

Layout

Data Centre

The main server room is located at the very centre of B Deck; however, is only accessible by means of the inner ring on C Deck. It contains computer hardware used for various systems, such as navigation and sensors. The room can be accessed via a door connected to the ring corridor in the forward section of C Deck. An upper level of the data centre conterminous to B Deck can be accessed using a ramp at the centre of the room.

Ring Corridor

The main corridor surrounding the data centre. It allows access to each stateroom, the VIP lounge and to the main stairwell located in the aft area of the corridor. A functioning lift opposite the stairs provides descent to C Deck, D Deck, E Deck and F Deck. Additionally, a security desk guards the entrance to the VIP lounge and A Deck.

Staterooms

A set of six staterooms are located on the port, forward, and starboard sides of B Deck. Each contains a main living space, a bedroom and a bathroom. Each room can be accessed through a door connected between each living space and the ring corridor. Staterooms 1 and 2 are located on the port side of the deck, Staterooms 3 and 4 are located on the forward side, and Staterooms 5 and 6 are located on the starboard side.

VIP Lounge (lower)

A furnished bar and dining area is located on the aft side of the deck. The room features multiple tables that can be sat at, a bar and a piano. The aft side of the room features a large window overlooking that side of the ship. The VIP lounge also serves as the only route up to A Deck, which can be accessed by means of a circular staircase or lift positioned in the centre of the room.

Galley

Two small rooms exist on the port side situated between the ring corridor, VIP lounge and Stateroom 1, consisting of a kitchen and a pantry. The VIP lounge's distributor can be found in the kitchen, whilst a selection of example food can be found in the pantry. In future updates, this area will be manned by stewards and used to prepare food for high-ranking staff and passengers. It can currently be accessed through a door beside the VIP lounge's bar.

Side Rooms

Three small rooms are located on the starboard side situated between the VIP lounge, ring corridor and Stateroom 6. These include a small corridor connecting the rooms, a storeroom containing decorations and furniture, and an unfinished bathroom containing several cleaning supplies. They can be accessed through the door at the VIP lounge's inner-starboard corner.
