Operations
The operations department handles all aspects of shipboard navigation and shuttle operations. Operations crewmembers will wear brown clothing.
Roles
Deck Chief
The chief of the operations department. The Deck Chief will assign tasks to operations personnel and managing the department. The role is assigned to Lieutenants or Lieutenant Commanders.
Pilot
A member of the department in charge of flying vehicles. The pilot will likely be tasked with flying shuttles and possibly the Magellan itself. The role is often assigned to Ensigns or Enlisted personnel.
Deck Crew
A member of the deck department. Their role is currently unknown, likely running operations within the Shuttle Bay. The role is often assigned to Ensigns and Enlisted personnel.
Development
- In pre-0.224 versions, the department was referred to as the deck crew department.
