Command (department)
NOTICE: This page is a Work in Progress as much of the lore/Development for the game is yet to be established.
The command department, primarily composed of the commanding officer (CO) and the executive officer (XO), is responsible for the overall management and operation of the ship, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the vessel and its crew. Command staff currently wear white or yellow clothing.
Roles
Admiral
The highest ranking officer aboard the Magellan. Admirals will likely outrank captains, though their role and presence on the ship is currently unknown.
Captain
The commanding officer aboard the Magellan. The captain will often make the decisions about the ship's course and operations.
First Officer
The Executive Officer (XO) and second in command aboard the Magellan. The role is often assigned to a Commander.
Duties on Ship (Gameplay)
- Issuing Instructions to other departments.
- Managing Crew schedules and tasks.
- Relaying orders from UNSF HQ.
- Managing the Bridge.
- Managing Diplomacy With other Species or factions.
