Engineering

Overview

The engineering department are considered the technical experts for a starship's crew. They are responsible for maintaining the mechanical and engineering systems, most of which is housed in the lower decks of the starship. Engineers are primarily based out of F and G Decks, though will service areas of the ship if mechanical faults are reported. Additionally, the engineers will make use of a series of Maintenance Tunnels are located around the ship to discretely access vital systems such as the FTL Coil.

Currently, the only engineering duties revolve around managing the starship's power systems. Once this is completed, engineers must bring all power systems online and maintain the reactor to ensure it remains stable.
